Howard Feldman Insurance Agency Inc, an award-winning State Farm agency is searching for experienced sales associates to learn how to run their own insurance business. We are looking for individuals in the Rockville, Md area.

This opening is a developmental position to groom you for your own State Farm Insurance Agency. We are only taking on candidates that we feel have the ability to be successful on their own. We hope that there are a number of you reading this ad who will step up to the challenge. You will work closely with an award-winning Agent and learn all aspects of running a successful State Farm Agency. This is a temporary position that will last 24-36 months at which time you'll be transitioned to State Farm.

Innovative methods of client communication: We utilize a variety of creative tools for nurturing the relationship our agency enjoys with our clients and prospects.

Convenience: Great location in Bowie near the Bowie Town Center with easy freeway access. Lots of stores nearby if you need to handle errands on your lunch hour.

Schedule: Your working hours would be 8:Ǿ-5:00, Monday through Friday. Two Saturdays per month.

Benefits: 75% employer-paid medical for team members. Paid holidays, sick leave and vacation.


Here are some of the characteristics we are looking for:

Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college.

2-5 years Sales experience.

College Athletics a plus!

Strong sales skills with a proven record of success and accomplishments.

Optimistic, friendly, customer-oriented - as our office is a happy place.

Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Detail oriented - since our clients' security depends on our accuracy.

Forward thinking - we pride ourselves on "thinking outside the box."

Computer literate and enthusiastic about learning new technologies.

A team player, flexible, resilient - as the insurance industry and our clients' needs change daily.

Location: Rockville, Md
Compensation: Guaranteed draw of $2,000 per month. Our reps earn between $45,000-$75,000.
