As a District Manager with Farmers Insurance, I am currently selecting
candidates for our agency program. We provide motivated individuals
an excellent opportunity for a very rewarding career.
Farmers is looking for people who are interested in getting into
business for themselves and who have the potential to build a
successful agency. To assist, we have a comprehensive training
program coupled with a two-year income assistance program designed to
bridge a person to a commission income. We expect new agents to make
over $63,000 by their third year and exceed $100,000 by their fifth
year.
Fortune Magazine indicated that only 15% of American´s earn $50,000 a
year and only 2% earn over $100,000 annually. About 80% of those
earning $100,000+ are entrepreneurial or in sales. We´ve known this
for a long time. Our agency owners whose production is ranked in the
top 10% are earning in excess of $550,000.
Generally, we are looking for motivated individuals with a college
degree or sales and/or management experience, professional appearance,
good communication and people skills, and a positive attitude.
*Clean credit needed (no delinquent debt over $1,000, no bankruptcies in 3 yrs)
*Clean criminal history needed (no felonies)
You will learn how to market, manage, consult, sell and retain your
clients while earning referrals from them for additional business.
Your training will include all aspects of running a successful Farmers
Insurance agency as well as the product and company knowledge you need
to be successful.
You are an independent contractor as a Farmers agent, and as such you
will enjoy all of the tax advantages that are afforded to small
businesses in America today.
