Responsibilities include:
• Close sales and consistently work to achieve sales and performance goals.
• Serve as customer support, helping to resolve questions and complaints.
• Review correspondence from carriers and take appropriate actions regarding renewals, non-renewals, incomplete documentation/applications, endorsements, billing information, etc.
• Update policyholder information as needed.
• Complete understanding of agency management system.
• Respond to inquiries regarding claim reporting or investigations.
• Maintain accurate, timely records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Maintain education and licensing requirements as needed.
• Stay abreast of issues impacting the industry and their position.
Qualifications include:
• Highly professional phone manner
• Self-motivating; able to work with little supervision
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be a licensed customer service representative (CSR.)
• Must have P&C license
• Must have one + years' experience
• Familiarity with some of the major carriers such as Mercury. Travelers, Infinity, Hartford, SCE and Unitrin
