This opportunity does not include any variable securities sales.
Compensation
This position is strictly a 1099 contract position. You work as an independent contractor as we do not offer any type of retirement or insurance plans to our agents. There is no base salary as your paycheck is determined by your success in the field. The main upside to this opportunity is that your income is unlimited as many of our agents make well into the 6 figures. You also get to set your own schedule in terms of meetings as we are very flexible for all of our agents.

They also have a significant need for additional life insurance as the coverage they have may be insufficient and they have not had to an open season since 2004. You will need to explain how their benefits work through the government and provide solutions to the gaps in their plan. Once you have success with life insurance sales we will begin training you to work with retirees and teach you our rollover process.

Responsibilities
As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will build your own business. You will do so by calling on prospective clients and generating new sales leads while also managing new and existing customer accounts. However, in this career, you will also have the opportunity to participate in several other exciting business activities including:
•Utilizing Farmers Marketing Systems, or those you may develop, to reach potential customers for our Insurance and Financial Services products
•Providing excellent customer service to policyholders

Requirements
The qualified Insurance Sales Representative candidate will have at least a high school diploma, although a college degree is preferred. The ideal Insurance Sales Representative will also have:
•Sales and/or customer service experience
•Excellent communication skills -- both written and verbal
•Entrepreneurial spirit with a fearless and positive attitude
•Self-motivation and goal-orientation
•Strong organizational, time management and follow-through skills
•Desire to continually learn new products and services
•Desire to be active in the community
•Basic computer skills
•Good credit history -- no chapter 11 or 13 bankruptcies within the last 12 months. No chapter 7 bankruptcies within the last 3 years
•A favorable criminal record -- no Felonies
